Are politics always about fantasy-land?

“Ensoulment”?

“Rights”?

And what about that Margaret Sanger?

The left does not so much whitewash as ignore the un-PC pasts of those whom they wish to revere for providing notable and ground-breaking support for one or another left-wing cause.

The same wilful blindness is most certainly not allowed to the people of the right.

Does Paul Kengor put “idiots,” “morons,” and “imbeciles” in quotes because he has forgotten what they mean?

Or rather because their use is too insensitive and un-PC for this man of the right?

To this day, the liberals side retrospectively with the bogus "Republicans" of the Spanish Civil War - actually, anarchists and Stalinists who hated the Republic, dead when the generals in Africa declared their revolt.

I side with Spain and Franco, though he is my second choice.

The first, had it been in the running at all, would have been the Republic.
