Obama Will Name Brooklyn U.S. Attorney As New AG
Lynch would be the second woman to serve as attorney general and second African-American to hold the post.
Lynch served on the trial team that prosecuted and won convictions against New York City police officers for violating the civil rights of Abner Louima, a Haitian immigrant who police sodomized.
That experience could help at the helm at the Justice Department, which is overseeing high-profile civil rights probes including that into the Ferguson, Missouri, police shooting of Michael Brown.
So, the AG job is primarily about things like Ferguson, now, is it?
Interfering in local investigations to maximize looking good to "the community" while also maximizing the chance of railroading a white cop because we all know if the cop is white and the victim is black it's about racism, right?
Just the kind of racism-based politics that killed the Democrats three days ago.
Want to be a minority party, racially?
Then you'll be a minority party, period.
By the way, for a long time liberal/Democratic pundits have said Republicans turn out better than Democrats, especially for midterms.
So, was that just code for white people turn out better than blacks and Hispanics?
