Well, Rev. Wright did insist O was really one of them.

'Selma is now' says Obama ahead of visit to highlight abusive justice system

Just under two years to go, and no new elections to personally face, he can now be more true to his own beliefs and values.

A hell of a lot smoother, smarter, and more articulate, he's nevertheless turning out to have more Rev. Wright, or even Rev. Al Sharpton, in him than he quite allowed to show for most of his presidency.

A very big deal is always made by race-baiters of the question, about a white, whether he ever in life used the word "nigger."

Did O ever use the word "ofay"?

How about "paleass" or "honky"?

"Bird shit"?

None of which means there isn't actually an issue of not very clear dimensions.

Think of it as a reminder of our common humanity.

Like this.

When Al and Jeremiah and Barack heard about Ferguson and instantly "just knew" that white cop had murdered that black boy because he was black, that was racism.

Maybe it's true even the best of us have been infected, some.

There is still no racial justice in America in the years post-Selma

So the achievements of the civil right movement were nothing?

That is an angry, hate-driven lie.

But it is a lie O did not utter and flatly denied in his Selma speech.
