Wolf Bllitzer, CNN, Bibi

The publicity around the whole Bibi thing should make it as clear as it needs to be that both parties are cowed by the Zionist lobby.

The mere suggestion the other day that the policy of the White House and the United States might not be as totally subservient to Israeli interests as Bibi and his fans would desire had Wolf pulling out his hair in hysterical concern for the fate of the Democratic Party.

Now, the Democrats owe nothing to and hope for nothing from the Christian Zionists of American Protestant Evangelicalism, neither as voters, nor as contributors, nor as supporters in the media or on the ground during campaigns.

So those are not the Zionists whose power to harm the Democrats so freaked out poor Wolf.

But American Zionists comprise only two significant groups, those same Christian Zionists and the bulk of American Jews.

So guess who's pulling the Democrats' wires.

It is no accident that the two senators from New York, though not always both Jewish, are always both among the most devoted of senators from Tel Aviv.

Nor is it an accident that American media, to the extent that they are dominated by Jews, are overwhelmingly though certainly not exclusively Zionist.

The best American government money can buy.

But the CNN equation is not at all universally accepted among American Jews that support for Israel = support for the neocons' and Bibi's view of how to deal with Iran, and quite a few Democrats even had the chutzpah to plan to skip his speech altogether, some notable Jews included.

55 Democrats will skip it

Of course, if it was clear as a bell that support for Israel required the sacrifice of, say, Michigan, it would be just too bad for the Michiganders as both parties would throw them to the wolves.
