Wallace, even worse than FDR, refused to see the tyrant in Stalin and the tyranny in Communism.
He would've refused to defend Canada against red subversion or even invasion.
Would Communism not still have ultimately collapsed, had American policy been less panicked and fanatical?
I think it would have.
Would the Levant today be worse off if a few more countries had been Communist before Communism's general fall and we Americans had given no encouragement at any time to emerging Islamofascism?
I think it would be better off.
