A prisoner attempts suicide, for real or not, and so you handle it by putting him in solitary?
The government's treatment of this fellow has been outrageously cruel and at times unconstitutional - I mean in a genuinely objectionable way, such as holding him for years, much of the time in solitary, before even trying him - from the very beginning.
