The point of this liberal nonsense is to take the matter out
of the hands of the people and their legislatures once and for all.
Interesting question whether the current conservative court
will choose this occasion to start to rein in the crazy built on the 14th
Amendment equal protection clause.
This is, of course, not what “equal protection” is all
about.
