Solipsism

The problem of other minds is that your experience is no part of mine.

True, I have your word for it.

You say your new shoes hurt your feet.

You say things are a blur without your glasses.

You say you had bad dreams last night.

The argument from analogy is pretty persuasive.

But wouldn’t a robot say similar things, given the circumstances?

Maybe when materialists tell us there is really nothing mental we should accept the truth of what they say.

About themselves, I mean.
