How much sense does it make to court the votes of 14 % by really annoying 70 %?
But a big part of the Democratic pitch does just that, the racist, race-bating, part.
The part based squarely on shouting "Ofay! Ofay!" as bigots of the South used to run up the white vote shouting "Nigger! Nigger!"
