Fox & Co Fight the Virology Elite
Not really a good idea for this very serious and very dangerous disease, and the world's handling thereof, and the US government's handling thereof, to become grist for the usual partisan bullshit mill.
But that's where things are going.
As for the main point, if the US government had NOT been taking this far too fecklessly that on-going cluster-fuck in Texas would not be happening.
Everybody would have been far more prepared, far more alert to the strong likelihood - denied as little as a week ago by the CDC - that somebody was going to get off a plane with this disease very soon and have to be dealt with promptly and effectively.
But one after another the people who were supposed to make the calls and deal with the issue showed they are not alert, not ready, and still have their heads up their asses.
And the rot, as they say, starts with the head, at the top of the CDC where denial is still de rigueur.
