Abdullah
The other day, ISIS dragged a Jordanian prisoner in a cage out into a public locale.
They poured gasoline all over him and lit him up, making a video as he was burned alive.
They put it on the web.
"He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn't seen," said Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr., a Marine Corps veteran of two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, who was in the meeting with the king.
"He mentioned 'Unforgiven' and he mentioned Clint Eastwood, and he actually quoted a part of the movie."
Hunter would not say which part of "Unforgiven" the king quoted, but noted it was where Eastwood's character describes how he is going to deliver his retribution.
There is a scene in the picture in which Eastwood's character, William Munny, says, "Any man I see out there, I'm gonna kill him. Any son of a bitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only going to kill him, I'm going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down."
"He's angry," Hunter said of King Abdullah.
"They're starting more sorties tomorrow than they've ever had. They're starting tomorrow. And he said, 'The only problem we're going to have is running out of fuel and bullets.'"
Crowds cheered
Like the crowds of Muslims all over the world who cheered when they first got the news of 9/11.
Muslims in America cheered, and several told me to my face they were deeply glad.
But by no means did all Muslims share that outlook on 9/11, and by no means do all share the outlook of ISIS and other Jihaders.

Saudi King calls pilot's killing "heinous" violation of Islam
People with political tin ears mock such remarks, missing the point that these are the very kinds of denunciations of Islamism we need from people perceived as critical and credible Muslim leaders.
All the same, even when they are on our side (so to speak) these people are shocking brutes and savages.
Clerics denounce burning
Try to image a leading Christian cleric, somebody with equivalent prestige, honor, and clout, saying anything remotely like this.
Egypt’s top Muslim authority, the 1,000 year old Al-Azhar university revered by Sunni Muslims around the world, issued a statement expressing “deep anger over the lowly terrorist act” by what it called a “Satanic, terrorist” group.
The Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Ahmed Al-Tayeb, said the killers themselves deserved to be “killed, crucified or to have their limbs amputated.”
Saudi cleric Salman Al-Odah wrote on his Twitter account: “Burning is an abominable crime rejected by Islamic law regardless of its causes.”
“It is rejected whether it falls on an individual or a group or a people. Only God tortures by fire,” he added.
The Islamic State posted a religious edict on Twitter, which ruled that it is permissible in Islam to burn an infidel to death.
