He's totally right

Radical feminism in fact loathes and opposes as vicious, unjust, and damnable phallocracy the institution of monogamy per se, though of course it has never been uncommon for the little woman to in fact wear the pants.

And gender theory - the whole thing is delusional when not disingenuous bullshit masquerading as superior psychological insight - is an outgrowth of that same radical feminism.

[It isn't just religion. People are capable of having the most bizarre belief systems about anything.]

Pope Francis: Gender Theory Part of ‘Global War’ to Destroy Marriage

Well, he's right about GT being out to destroy it.

But is there a global war to destroy it?

Update, 2350 hrs, 10/2/16.

1 Corinthians 11:3-16.

Well, that certainly is a remarkably patriarchal view of marriage, God's will, nature itself, and woman's role and place, all grounded in scripture and spoken authoritatively.

So there you have it.

I doubt Paul would have supported votes for women.

Ordination?

Hardly.

Chapter 14:33b-40, Paul writes that women must be silent in church and subordinate, according to the law and what is proper.

If they have questions about something said or done in church they must ask their husbands when they get home.

If you cannot believe the subjection of women is truly the will of God, must you not reject the authority of those who say it is to tell you the will of God?

And if you do, well, would you accept fantastic tales of miracles, cures, exorcisms, and resurrections or messianic claims retailed by people with no more than the ordinary, human claim on your credulity?

Would you really?

And if not what is left of Christianity for you?

The teaching of the New Testament is the thing itself, the real deal, actual Christianity with the hair on.

Don't like it?

Give it up and walk away.
