Denying Trump in Cleveland if he has not already sewed up a majority of delegates would be legitimate

For the proposition.

Against "stealing" the nomination from Trump (with the implication intended, of course, that it is rightfully his).

This will make it hard to avoid nominating him if he has a plurality but not a majority of delegates.

Imagine if George Wallace had been nominated by the Democrats.
