Chauncey DeVega is just so mad he could spit

Entitled, Racist, Bigoted, Thugs: It Is Time to Call Donald Trump Supporters by Their Real Names

But of course many, many people have been calling them all those things from the beginning of the primary season.

So what does Chauncey really want?

The corporate news media and its army of so-called “experts” and “opinion leaders” cannot undo the harm they have done to American politics during the 2016 presidential primaries.

They can however start to use accurate language to describe Donald Trump and his supporters.

These racists, bigots, nativists, bullies, and right-wing authoritarians are Trumpthuglicans.

A word that exists only in DeVega's personal idolect is integral to the "accurate language" the media should most urgently start to use, then?

It is long overdue that that this rabble is described by the mainstream news media and political chattering classes with the scorn and disgust they have earned and deserve.

Ah, he wants the news media to scream hatred and damnation for Il Duce and his supporters, behaving just like the propaganda organs of the race-furious left.

Like Salon, for example, and Alternet, which host Chauncey's work.

Update, 05122016.

Of course, those supporting the Democrats and even Democratic office holders were going to scream "racist" at any Republican nominee but Ben Carson, whom they were certain to label an Uncle Tom.

Likewise, given they are the party of abortion on demand and equal pay for unequally valuable workers, they were always going to scream that the Republican nominee is a misogynist, a hateful old white man (unless it turned out to be Ben Carson) who fears emasculation by strong women and wants to make women nothing but breeding cows.

Nothing was going to stop them labeling the GOP the party of white racism, white supremacy, white nationalism, woman-hating, and superannuated patriarchy.

Something to remember.
