Claude Lanzmann, intellectual vagabond who captured horror of Holocaust, dies at 92
Claude Lanzmann, the French director of the searing, nine-hour-long Holocaust documentary “Shoah”, whose extraordinary life reads like a history of the 20th century, has died in Paris aged 92.
I remember seeing Shoah over three days at a downtown Pittsburgh theater that showed Michael Moore's early work.
