A second thought on Trump and political violence

OK, #BLM is not violent.

But Baltimore was.

As were so many other cities where Democrats and liberals justified, apologized for, and egged on their violence.

And then there are the many forms of violence against working class, powerless whites exclusively for the good of favored others documented in this piece by Rod Dreher.

Or maybe just to buy them off.

To buy social peace and a good conscience by throwing the helpless sheep to the wolf.

Not what you would hope for from a shepherd.

Trump & Violence

All which does not in any way diminish the legitimate concern about Trump's ability and willingness to play the role of president within legal and constitutional bounds, in the proper spirit.

Dreher's view of the Trumpistas is far more sympathetic than Josh Marshall's.
