Thing is, the rebellion on the GOP side is really a vociferous white nationalist minority for ethnic cleansing and trade protectionism while on the Democratic side it's not ethno-nationalist, at all, bitterly opposed to ethnic cleansing, and more about Medicare for all, free tuition at state universities, taxing the rich, and beating up Wall Street than about walling off America with trade barriers.
There are a lot of really stupid articles at Salon making Trump out as literally a fascist, though he is not even figuratively that.
