Clinton: "No Coincidence That Hate Crimes Against American Muslims Have Tripled After Paris, San Bernardino"
From almost nothing to negligible, no doubt, and still way less than those committed by American Muslims.
Clinton said inflammatory anti-Muslim rhetoric such as suggesting a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S. "hurts the vast majority of Muslims who love freedom and hate terror."
The percentage of Muslims globally who love freedom is quite insignificant, and a majority regularly approve some, at least, of Muslim terrorism when polled.
Very large majorities approve visiting death upon gays, in particular.
She's perfectly right the attack was targeted at a gay bar "out of hatred and bigotry," but the idea that that had nothing to do with the man's religion or with Islam itself is ludicrous.
She repeats the surprisingly popular liberal meme that we shouldn't talk about defensive measures against Muslim terrorism since it only provokes Muslims to become terrorists.
Referring specifically to special surveillance of Muslims she says,
That’s wrong. And it’s also dangerous. It plays right into the terrorists’ hands.
Right, the NSA has to surveil everybody and the TSA has to search everybody at the airports.
And then people complain about the emergence of the universal surveillance state and the breathtaking invasions of the privacy of all Americans.
Not to mention the ridiculous waste of security resources.
Still, she realizes she can't allow herself to sound like a complete space cadet.
Still, as I have said before, none of us can close our eyes to the fact that we do face enemies who use their distorted version of Islam to justify slaughtering innocent people.
Still, it's not actually the real Islam that's a problem, eh?
Oh, no.
They’d take us all back to the Stone Age if they could, just as they have in parts of Iraq and Syria.
Paul Ryan: A Muslim Ban Is ‘Not In Our Country’s Interests’
He's not going to get cooperation from the Republican Party on much of his agenda, if he wins.
He keeps saying he can make people do what he wants, or just do things by "executive order."
Would he be impeached in his first term, I wonder?
Actually, the nonsense Hillary talks about Islam is no worse than the nonsense GW talked about Islam.
And this is good.
