Capitalism and innovation

In the 1960's, John Kenneth Galbraith thought the value of capitalist innovation best exemplified by the growth of tail fins on cars.

Today, it is best exemplified by the development of everything to do with or dependent on computer technology since Bill Gates started his career in his garage.
