Clinton: 'Long Past Time for Saudis...to Stop Supporting Radical Schools and Mosques'

They do it at home and they do it all over the world.

They train the Imams who teach gays must be executed.

They execute gays.

Democrat Hillary Clinton, speaking in Cleveland on Monday, called out Saudi Arabia and two other U.S. allies by name for their support of terrorist networks and ideology.

She was listing some of the things that might be done to prevent future attacks like the one in Orlando on Sunday:

"Now the third area that demands attention is preventing radicalization and countering efforts by ISIS and other international terrorist networks to recruit in the United States and Europe.

"For starters, it is long past time for the Saudis, the Qataris and the Kuwaitis and others to stop their citizens from funding extremist organizations. 

"And they should stop supporting radical schools and mosques around the world that have set too many young people on a path towards extremism."

This is not the first time Clinton has criticized the Saudis on the campaign trail.

As CNSNews.com reported last November, Clinton -- in a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations -- said something similiar:

“Once and for all, the Saudis, the Qataris and others need to stop their citizens from directly funding extremist organizations, as well as the schools and mosques around the world that have set too many young people on a path to radicalization,” she said at the time.

During a question-and-answer session after the November speech, Clinton said, "Saudi financing is still a major source of revenue for terrorist groups inside Syria, inside Iraq.”

Asked whether that included ISIS, Clinton said she had no evidence to that effect: 

"But I know that Saudi individuals have certainly funded other related terrorist groups over time, and also exported a lot of Wahhabi radicalism by kicking out – or sending out imams and teachers to set up schools and mosques to preach that particularly harsh brand of Islam.”

Tell me how anybody can claim the Islam taught in Saudi Arabia, the birthplace and religious home of Islam, with Mecca its religious capital, could possibly be a "distortion" of Islam?

Not at all the real thing?

Still, this certainly sounds better than anything O has said.

Ever.

In their own ears the Saudis and the others she mentioned must hear this as her telling them to defund Islam.

It won't be an easy sell.

You have to wonder how hard she is willing to push.

This is Hillary pursuing global culture war, exportation and imposition of liberal Western values on the very heart of the global Muslim homeland.

She sees perfectly well what the enemy is.

Go far enough in this direction and you are quite seriously pursuing replacement of the real Islam with a liberal version of it, with Imam's eventually answering polls of their personal religious opinions much as do lesbian Episcopalian clergy when asked about Jesus' exorcisms and healing miracles, the Virgin Birth, or the Resurrection.

Neocons and neo-Wilsonians will be much more approving than Buchananites, whose strategy for dealing with the clash of civilizations is to withdraw.

Does she realize anything approximating democracy in Saudi Arabia or the gulf states would bring them closer to ISIS in both foreign and domestic politics?

Would make them much more determined and dangerous supporters of what is worst and most dangerous in Islam?
