Republicans have a plan

How The New Version Of The Republican Tax Bill Would Affect You

A small break for the wife and me for two years, and then back to the same.

But our Medicare and Social Security will be highly vulnerable when the Republicans start screaming about the deficit they have ballooned with permanent, large cuts in the estate tax and corporate rates.

That, of course, is exactly their idea.

The rich need that money so much more than we do.

Meals on wheels, food stamps, medicaid, so many other things will get the axe, too.

And the bill kills the individual mandate in a malicious drive-by, too.

Will the Democrats campaign on repealing the huge tax breaks for the plutocracy?

Will that work?

P. S.

Trump's only role in the tax bill so far has been to echo standard GOP lies about trickle down and the Laffer curve (remember that?) in substance though not in name.

His biggest contribution will be to not veto it.

It could not survive a veto.

Were he in reality the friend of the common man he pretends to be he would kill this atrocity in a heartbeat.
