Teachers Highland Cream

Smells medicinal, to me.

More so than whiskey generally, I mean.

Not much for Scotch, at all.

It does go down easy, though.

Makes my tongue feel somewhat stung.

Cutty does that, too.

A Scotch thing?

Some of the new Ryes are good.

Canadian Club and Wild Turkey, for instance.

Or Redemption.

Among dirt cheap Bourbons, Heaven Hill is nice.

And noticeably a Bourbon.

More character than Canadian Gold, whose chief virtue is having none.

Being cheap is its other virtue.
