Unsullied reputation for decency and integrity

Do you need that to serve on the Supremes, in the judgment of Republicans?

Well, Clarence Thomas was credibly accused of sexual harassment and Brett Kavanaugh was credibly accused of rape.

But in neither case was there good enough evidence to convict in court, and that was good enough for Republicans.

They were confirmed by the senate and sit on the Supremes.

Herman Cain has been accused of sexual harassment.

Several Republican senators have said they will not vote to confirm him and he will not be confirmed, if he is named.

Hey, only people of good reputation, whose decency and integrity are above reproach, can serve on the Fed.

That's where public trust and respect really matter.

By Republican standards.
