Decapitating the medical committee, preparing to sideline it in favor of the Committee of Yes Men

We know exactly where this is going.

Trump wants the nation to leave lockdown against medical advice.

Easier to first decapitate and then sideline the medical advisers.

Fauci will get the boot after muting his criticisms and even omitting altogether to criticize Trump's expensive and obstructive penchant for quack cures, all in an effort to keep his job and maintain the medicos' committee's leading position in public.

Just another "adult in the room" who will be publicly handed back his balls by Trump as he's pushed out the door, probably in a midnight tweet.

And then Bozo will bring forward his Committee of White House Yes Men, pushing the medicos offstage altogether so the Yes Men can start issuing advice and instructions and eventual commands to the states and cities to roll back the lockdown.

Trump retweets call to fire Fauci amid coronavirus criticism

President Donald Trump fueled more speculation about the futurWe of Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday, retweeting a conservative who called for the top infectious disease specialist to be fired after he said in a CNN interview more could have been done to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Amid sustained criticism of Fauci from some of the President's allies in conservative media, the message raised the prospect of Trump potentially souring on a key member of his coronavirus task force.

. . . .

Fauci conceded to CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday morning that earlier mitigation efforts could have saved more lives and again called for a cautious reopening of the nation, despite Trump's calls to quickly restart the economy.
