Oklahoma: no rules, just right

Steph Ruhle explained OK is way into reopening and will let President Karamazov run his arena gig any way he wants, free of annoying public health restrictions intended to inhibit the spread of the Coronavirus.

Expect screaming crowds of the MAGA stupid, packed in like sardines.

Apparently the subject came up and Mnuchin told reporters no way would America go back into lockdown second spike, second wave, or whatever.

Of course, he's the guy who said the virus was pretty much water-tight contained and so stopped in its tracks back in, what, March?

The CDC says we got more than 20,000 new cases yesterday almost hitting 2 M for the US with 113 K dead.

Various cities that reopened too far too soon are seeing spikes.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said on Thursday that another economic shutdown would harm the US, even in the event of a second wave of COVID-19 cases.

"We can't shut down the economy again," Mnuchin said during an interview with CNBC. "I think we've learned that if you shut down the economy, you're going to create more damage."

That damage goes beyond economic fallout, extending to "medical problems and everything else that get put on hold," he said.

"I think it was very prudent what the president did," Mnuchin said, "but I think we've learned a lot."
