The intensifying struggle over immigration in Europe
Open borders fans of left and right refuse to budge on immigration.
It appears to be their number one concern, far more important than any other political goal and one to which many of them have often suggested free speech and even the freedom to vote should be sacrificed.
They are coming increasingly close to so pissing off so many of their people that in many European nations a rabid dog that came out against immigration could beat any opponent in a fair election.
Expect fair elections to become less common in Europe.
The elites have a way - they have many ways - of always getting their own way.
Look at the education and employment stats for Sweden.
Why did they let in so many immigrants so completely unsuited to life in that country?

So, is it part of the plan for all this immigration of dependents to break the back of the welfare state and give politicians the excuse they so much want to push Europe closer to bare-knuckle capitalism?
