The uninvited

Socialist Hollande Asked Netanyahu Not to Participate in Paris Anti-Terror March

Not just the FN, but others profoundly disapproved by the PC forces of the globe were expressly disinvited as "too divisive" to join this mass demonstration of the unity of "all of France" and "all of the civilized world."

They wanted the message to be "We still love you, Muslims! We know it's not your fault!"

And if you asked them, or indeed the CH staff before they were murdered, whose fault it was you would be more likely to hear it's the fault of French society than of Islam, or even of Muslims committed to heresy.

“There can be no exclusion from national unity,” said Prime Minister Valls on Thursday, though adding that this unity must be built around certain values “that are profoundly republican – of tolerance, of a refusal to associate [Islam with extremism]”.

The latter remark was widely interpreted as a suggestion that the FN did not meet these requirements.

François Lamy, a former Socialist minister, said “only republican parties, which refuse to stigmatise and stoke fear”, should take part in Sunday’s rally, implying that the National Front was not welcome.

This, by the way, is another face of that hero of liberty, Charlie Hebdo.

"What to do about the National Front? Ban it!"

It is as if Salman Rushdie, having been terrorized by the Iranian Fatwa for decades, had never quite got the message and still spent his time blaming the West for the hatred in the heart of Islam.
