We could let the French take the lead, if they want to and are able, but we have to join with the Russians in prioritizing the fight against radical Islam over moon-eyed Wilsonian exportation of democracy.

Not the Democrats, ostensibly because of their Wilsonism but perhaps also because of Cold War II.
