County officials cave to pressure from business owner who (not surprisingly) prioritize the survival of their businesses over the health of their brain-dead customers.
They are doing this in the face of the ever worsening pandemic in the county.
Allegheny County to allow outdoor dining, bars and casinos to reopen Friday — with restrictions
The Allegheny County Health Department on Wednesday announced it would allow restaurants, bars and casinos to resume operations Friday with restrictions as the region experiences a surge in new COVID-19 cases.
The new, two-week order allows outdoor dining to resume and rescinds previous mitigation efforts announced June 28 and July 2, which banned alcohol sales in bars and restaurants before closing all dining facilities and casinos for one week.
The updated guidance goes into effect Friday at 12:01 a.m.
