Overpriced, but good

Reading Hakan Nesser's The Inspector and Silence.

His contempt for religion and pop culture are refreshing, if unexpected in a polar.

The genre, after all, is only half a cut above pop culture, itself.

And how brave do you have to be to shower a white people's Christian sect with contempt?

A black, Jewish, or Muslim sect?

Hindus or devotees of Voodoo?

No, not quite that brave.

And that makes me wonder.

Has anyone, anywhere in the world, written a dystopia of Islamism?

A novel of the horrors of life under Sharia totalitarianism, religious police abusing women in the streets, mass beheadings in stadiums, and all that?

Or is no one with the talent remotely brave enough?
