Far-right French party sees sharp rise in popularity among Jewish voters, surveys find
Jean-Marie Le Pen is gone and his daughter is not an echo.
The FN is not fiscally conservative but is anti-EU and anti-immigration.
It has no bones to pick with the the nature of the French state or its constitution.
It is committed to a "France for the French" ethnic nationalism, though not to expulsion of lawful and law-abiding immigrants already in place.
Propaganda apart, there is not really much reason to call it "far right."
