Aren't we just a bunch of lucky ducks to be blessed with such politically correct oligarchs?

Isn't it swell that a CEO can swing so much economic power that he can beat the government of a US state into compliance with his will, overturning their own as reflected in a law that pissed him off?

The CEO Who Took On Indiana's Anti-LGBT Law -- And Won

Unless, of course, his agenda is the same as the Koch brothers'.

The liberals' only complaint about this blatant triumph of The Money Power over the actual elected government of Indiana is that the CEO who so loudly did it was perhaps a tad tactless.

The CEO admits that not every step in this push to change the law has been graceful.

He became the target of some criticism after a CNN interview last Wednesday, in which he said, "One thing that you're seeing is that there is a third [political] party emerging in this country, which is the party of CEOs."

The comment provoked pushback from those who already fear the influx of money in politics.

Benioff said he misspoke as a result of his excitement over the business community’s rapid response to the situation in Indiana.

Mumble, mumble. Oh, that's OK, then.

All the same, and by sheer coincidence, this piece is also on Huffpo, today.
