Gorgeous driving in the mid-Atlantic region

The weather has been clear most of the time for the last couple of weeks, and the scenery has been spectacular.

Around Mt. Lebanon, PA, around Pasadena, MD, and all the way through the mountains from the former to the lat
What beautiful country!

Nothing like it in the prairies or plains states.

Remotest from regions that are both, like North Dakota. 

And yet, Pasadena is part of that infamous Bos-Wash stretch of urbanization that extends over hundreds of miles along the Eastern coastal littoral, the gently rolling country between the Appalachians and the Atlantic.

Not less beautiful in the least, the area is all the better as a place to live for having every amenity and advantage of civilization ready to hand.

Even allowing for the disadvantage of proximity to the urban canaille.
