The idea of a tropical paradise

However useless your product, package it properly, and people will buy it.

People will buy anything if the approach is correct.

Of course, the notion originated when sex-starved sailors first set foot in Polynesia.

Since then it's just advertising and the lemming phenomenon.

No one in his senses could think a bug and disease ridden place with such a terrible climate a paradise.
