Sanders on Sunday laughed at her suggestion that his remarks were about gender.
Instead of calling her a vicious bitch.
That would have been accurate but politically suicidal.
This is going to get worse, the longer he stays in and especially if he threatens to pass her in the race.
She got pretty ugly with O even though she dared not alienate black voters and the very large part of the party that truly believed and still believes any hint that the place of women in society is or has been at all comparable to the place America has allowed blacks in the past is shocking and offensive, not quite but almost as bad as Holocaust denial.
Nothing like that protects Bernie and in fact she will use not just sex but race against him.
I swear she'll find a way.
She is and has always been her own Lee Atwater.
She will probably be the Democratic candidate and in that case we have to hope she wins.
But it will be shameful.
We will feel every day that we are being slimed by her.
