San Bernardino massacre: The futility of gun control

The measures the president wants to write into federal law are already the law in California and didn't stop the massacre, now being used to show the need for exactly those measures.

Over the past 25 years, Americans have bought more than 100 million new guns, and most of the 50 states have liberalized the laws that govern their purchase, possession, and use. 

And what has happened to the “gun-murder” rate? 

It’s been cut in half.

When a Mother Chooses Jihad over Life

One of those victims was 52-year-old Nicholas Thalasinos. 

His friend Kuuleme Stephens told the Associated Press she happened to call Thalasinos while he was at work and having an office discussion with the shooter. 

Thalasinos identified the man who would become the shooter by name and told her that the guy believed Islam was a peaceful religion.
