Trump becomes more disgusting all the time. See his latest tweets and attacks on John McCain.

And so do the Republicans who now seize every chance to scream with horror that the Democrats are pushing socialism, a radical socialist agenda, trillions and trillions of dollars we can't possibly afford, it will destroy America, run, run for your lives!

Their real agenda is so absurd that they can win elections only by a shitstorm of lies.

That, and vote suppression.

Malignant narcissism.

The social psychologist Erich Fromm first coined the term "malignant narcissism" in 1964, describing it as a "severe mental sickness" representing "the quintessence of evil".

He characterized the condition as "the most severe pathology and the root of the most vicious destructiveness and inhumanity".

Edith Weigert (1967) saw malignant narcissism as a "regressive escape from frustration by distortion and denial of reality", while Herbert Rosenfeld (1971) described it as "a disturbing form of narcissistic personality where grandiosity is built around aggression and the destructive aspects of the self become idealized".

Narcissistic personality disorder.

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder with a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, excessive need for admiration, and a lack of empathy.

Those affected often spend much time thinking about achieving power or success, or on their appearance.

They often take advantage of the people around them.

The behavior typically begins by early adulthood, and occurs across a variety of social situations.
