Pat Buchanan has a point.
Actually, several, and worth reading.
These are my points.
The US seems again to be facilitating the empowerment of Muslim craziness just to stick a thumb in a Russian eye, something we first did in Afghanistan on Reagan's watch, back when the neocon heroes of GW's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were mere pups.
Too, the Obama/Clinton pair have seriously screwed up in the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Maghreb, repeatedly knocking off relatively harmless or even friendly governments allegedly in favor of democracy but in fact to the advantage of Islamic madness.
Assad hits both nerves, being a Russian ally and a not very nice dictator the only real alternative to whom is ISIS.
Other alternatives are the same sort of democracy lover's fantasy that has led Obama/Clinton into one folly after another.
Or maybe the president just really is pro-Muslim, after all.
But who could possibly believe that about Hillary?
