A dialect of the poor?

Part 2, chapter 11, Little Dorrit's second letter to Clennam.

She writes like, well, Dickens.

In fact, she and her family, and indeed all characters, speak equally well. Or nearly.

We are far from Shaw's Eliza Doolittle, who needed to learn English nearly from scratch to impersonate a lady.
