Party poll watchers out, UN observers in!
Assuming you want a legitimate, democratic result, unlike Fox and the Republicans, you have to agree that letting party poll-watchers harass voters is just stupid.
They are certainly not there to ensure an honest and fair result.
They are there to safeguard or advance the interests of their party.
It is an outrage they are even permitted anywhere near polling places.
And since I agree we need somebody independent watching to be sure the poll workers behave lawfully, fairly, and honestly I urge the regular use of UN or other international observers skilled in this sort of thing.
For all elections at all levels.
