Spin wars don’t miss a beat

The Republican story is Obama has to work for a “breakthrough” in personal relations with Mitch McConnell and John Boehner and the White House even has to “move out of their comfort zone,” move to the right, and bring more Republicans into the administration.

Andrea Mitchell, wife of The Maestro, took the lead with this line before 6 am on Way Too Early.

Yeah, sure.

The burden of bipartisanship and working together is always on the Democrats.

They are the ones who have to be more accommodating and show some willingness “to meet the Republicans half way,” according to Mitch and John and their main stream media echoes.

Still in their own reality, aren’t they?

Republican Earth seems so unlike the planet the rest of us live on.

Well, it was created 6,000 years ago and faces no threats of global warming, resource depletion, or human over-grazing.

And that’s nothing like the planet the rest of us live on.

PS.

Job One for Obama according to the right wing noise machine and even the main stream media this morning is to cope with the “fiscal cliff” and the “debt crisis,” the latter a fiction and the former a sheer invention of the conservative movement and the Republican Party, a set of spending cuts and the expiration of the Bush tax cuts timed to occur together soon - at the beginning of January? - unless contrary legislation can be passed before then.

He and the Democrats have to solve the “crisis” that the Republicans say will happen when we go over the "fiscal cliff" - a "crisis" they intentionally set us up for.

So say the media.

And if you buy that I have a bridge in New York I’d like to sell you.
