This morning, BooMan joined the chorus heaping scorn on the
Boston Bomber for cowardice, reminding us of the identical and equally absurd
abuse hurled upon the terrorists of 9/11 who rode those airplanes to their
deaths.
A chorus led by the president, himself, in his remarks of yesterday and, I think, the day before.
Who is not reminded of the like denigration of the
Unabomber, in the days when he demanded his manifesto be published, before his
capture?
The fatuous keepers of public opinion on that occasion even
felt the need to call on several academics to grade the Unabomber’s work like
some college term paper.
Need I bother to say the grades were very poor, indeed?
No clearer sign of the arrogance of those who hold the
megaphones, and their contempt for their audience, could possibly be asked for.
