Hockey stick, my foot

Is it really true that global temperatures have not risen in 16 years?

That claim has appeared repeatedly in the right wing press, but evidently nowhere else.

Anyway, K’s article here is quite reasonable.

Way too often, liberal plans to deal with global warming clearly can have little or no impact on global warming, but can have plenty of impact by severely damaging the US economy in order to advantage economies of nations far more numerous, more poor, and less white.

You might almost think that was the point.

How far can the president actually carry out his program without enabling legislation from congress?

And who thinks he would get it?

Recall what happened to the Kyoto Treaty.

And pretty much every such fake global effort after that.

By the way, so much of the right has, out of sheer, partisan opportunism, gone over to the anti-Americanism of the likes of Glenn Greenwald that one has to ask.

Has Krauthammer decided Snowden and other leakers are heroes and Obama is a tyrant for continuing the national security efforts of GW?
