The fate of the thinker

If you can't stand people thinking your opinions are nuts you probably shouldn't have any.

If you can't do without opinions but can't hack it without the reassuring agreement of others you should join a church, or a movement, or a religious,  political,  or philosophical sect.

Become a Marxist or a Buddhist, a Randian or a Baptist, a liberal or an Islamist.

Or an empiricist, a neutral monist, or a phenomenological existentialist.

I could go on.

But why?
