Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) is perhaps best known for shouting "you lie!" at then-President Barack Obama during a joint session of Congress in 2009.
It's a phrase that still haunts him almost a decade later, as proven by town hall attendees in his district late Monday.
“I’ve supported the local solicitor here, and the solicitor in Lexington on all efforts to make sure that violence against women is fully enforced,” Wilson told a roomful of constituents.
“You lie! You lie!” chanted hundreds in response.
