The knee

Yesterday, Huckabee Sanders began the presser with a five minute celebration of the historic integration of the schools of Little Rock.

Then, asked about the president's expression of racial grievance in Huntsville, the day before, she denied it was that and praised the president for defending patriotism, castigating disrespect for the flag and the anthem.

That was the story she stuck to throughout challenges and questions.

Last night, the Democratic media continued their irrelvant claims of the protection of the First Amendment and at last shifted to vigorously echoing, not reporting, the players' racial complaints.

Too, they brushed aside talk of the flag, the anthem, and patriotism as a smokescreen for white racial hostility toward the athletes and their actions.

Meanwhile, white ownership and management are supporting the kneelers, having no interest in enraging half their players and maybe provoking a strike or worse.
