When asked to comment on the hurricane in PR, and while expressing appropriate condolences and sympathy, an official - acting Homeland Security secretary Elaine Duke - commented that in view of how awful Maria was it was good news there weren't many more deaths.
“I know it is really a good news story in terms of our ability to reach people and the limited number of deaths that have taken place in such a devastating hurricane,” Duke told reporters on Thursday.
It's been a Democrat pig pile on Elaine Duke every news hour since.
