Reading Michael Connelly's excellent Lincoln Lawyer novel, The Reversal.
Of course, if this sort of picture of the process is accurate there is little reason to think it arrives at the truth.
And much reason to regard prosecutors, defense teams, and police with contempt and mistrust.
But what do I know?
