Should the broadcast media boycott the president's planned Tuesday night lie-fest?

Trump and the White House have done nothing but lie about this whole business of the wall and the nature and extent of illegal immigration from Mexico.

That people on the terror watch list are coming by the thousands over the Mexican border is a lie of mammoth proportions, for example.

CBP only stopped 6 immigrants listed in terrorism database at US-Mexico border in the first half of FY 2018

Overall, 41 people on the Terrorist Screening Database were encountered at the southern border from Oct. 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018, but 35 of them were U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Six were classified as non-U.S. persons.

On the northern border [you know, with Canada], CBP stopped 91 people from the database, including 41 who were not American citizens or residents.

. . . .

The White House has used the 4,000 figure to make its case for building a wall on the southwest border and for closing the government until Congress funds it.

They have also threatened to call a national emergency in order to get over $5 billion in funding for the wall.

(Are those the most recent numbers we have? Why?)

Why give him live coverage in prime time as he spouts nothing but lies?

Why give him such an important megaphone to belch his sewage to a public still in large part too stupid to ignore him?

They should refuse to give him the means to do such grave harm to the nation.

Let the Republicans bellow all they want.
