I went to high school in the mid 1960s and I don't recall being taught about Wilson's policy of squashing all news about the Spanish Flu in the US, making him partially responsible for the avalanche of American deaths.
Read accounts of Wilson and the war as well as Wilson and the flu and you will come to despise Wilson, if you don't already.
